We really enjoyed our time at Blue Nile Guest House. the staff was extremely helpful, giving us a fantastic room with a balcony and a nice view. the room amenities such as the bidet, terry robes, and shower cap were a great addition. the location was perfect, being close to restaurants and the famous churches of Lalibela.

We were impressed by the excellent location, cleanliness, and the fantastic staff. the hotelier went above and beyond to ensure our comfort, organizing a tuktuk for our early morning departure and even preparing our breakfast ahead of time. the staff also provided us with valuable advice on visiting the churches, and the doorman ensured our safety as single female travelers. the service was top-notch, and our stay was truly wonderful. Not to mention, the view from the hotel overlooking the town and hills was absolutely perfect.

The room at Blue Nile Guest House was cozy and comfortable, perfect for a relaxed stay. I loved that the room had a seating area and a kitchen, it felt like a home away from home. The 32-inch LCD TV with satellite channels provided great entertainment options during my downtime. The bathroom with rainfall showers was a nice touch, adding a luxurious feel to my stay. The twin room with a balcony and mountain view made mornings even better, with a lovely view to wake up to.

Personally, I found the bidet in the private bathroom unnecessary, but I understand others may appreciate it.
